If you register for an event, volunteer, become a sponsor, or make a donation through a process we provide or link to, we may also collect the information needed to administer that request, including participation preferences and transaction or confirmation details.
Our website may also receive limited technical information automatically through its hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser or device information, pages requested, and the date and time of a request. This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
How we use information
We use personal information only for reasonable purposes connected with our work: responding to you, administering events and relationships, providing requested updates, improving and protecting our services, meeting legal obligations, and maintaining appropriate records.
Where required, we seek meaningful consent. You may withdraw consent to non-essential uses at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide a requested service or communicate about an event.
Marketing communications
We send promotional email or text messages only where permitted by applicable law. Commercial electronic messages include our identification and a working unsubscribe option. You can also ask us to stop marketing communications by emailing hello@inclineevents.ca.
Retention & safeguards
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including legal, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements. We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and access
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about our privacy practices. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to provide information in limited circumstances allowed by law. To make a request, email hello@inclineevents.ca with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without a parent or guardian’s consent. Please do not submit a child’s personal information to us unless you are authorized to do so.

We will investigate and respond as appropriate. If you remain concerned, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another applicable privacy regulator.
